Optical nonlinear control of single photons

Four-wave-mixing Bragg scattering is investigated for the integrated control of single-photon wave packets via simulations and experiments. Requirements for the experimental platform will be developed, discussed, and implemented using the systems available in the RTG. The doctoral researcher will collaborate closely with the Zopf group and will obtain and strategically combine important expertise in the field of single-photon emitters and coherent single-photon control.
