High-frequency squeezing combs exhibit entanglement between the light fields at the respective positive and negative sideband frequency. These are exaggerated at each free spectral range of the optical resonator of the squeezed light source. Due to this multiple entanglement, squeezed light combs can be used as a resource to generate cluster states by means of appropriate optical manipulation (e.g., frequency shifted multiple homodyne detection). Their suitability to realize cluster states for quantum communication will be investigated in this project from theoretical (Hammerer Group) and experimental (Heurs Group) sides, exploiting existing synergies with Kues Group.
